Are there variable spectacles in the problemography toolbox? How would one go about describing the design of variable spectacles?

"I've never heard anyone who works with models explain why they are reasonable approaches to reality, although common sense would seem to argue that anyone who approaches society systematically would have to defend his own inquiring system." - C. West Churchman, Perspectives of the Systems Approach
While I am fascinated most by Churchman's (1971) Singerian inquiring system, I keep using the model of the Kantian inquiring system.
As I study models of research (such as Bacharach's Components of a Theory), I am trying to consider where my mind fits in with them.
My research mind has it's own 3D glasses. The data values of the variables are what my mind filters.

"Come and get one in the variables! If you have any variables that is!"
Of all the theory papers which I read during my dissertation studies, Bacharach's (1989) paper on the components of a theory impressed upon me how difficult the task of an MIS researcher is.
To help me understand the ideas, I have created a diagram based upon Bacharach's article.
See: . 1989. Organizational Theories: Some Criteria for Evaluation. Academy of Management Review. 14:496-515.
The following sites are related to my dissertation:

I count 88 theories on the Theories Used in IS Research Wiki.
This site is wonderful.
They use the GNU Free Documentation License.
See the New theories section.
Many research papers and journal articles about information systems can be obtained from the AIS Electronic Library.
This site has a webpage that lists the Most Popular Papers. Today, when looking at the list, I spotted two papers that have the word "ethics" in the title.
I have posted a slideshow of my presentation from the 2006 Southenr AIS conference in Jacksonville, FL.
The original slideshow used PowerPoint; however, I have posted the slideshow using Eric Meyers's S5: A Simple Standards-Based Slide Show System. While it took a few hours to convert the text and images, I believe that this version is better because it can be viewed as a webpage and can be searched. Also, the slideshow links easily to the references, so it will be easier to study.
I have created a list of my research projects. I am using the vita categories as a guide for organizing the table.
